Guillaume Dubois

Osteopathy for babies, children and adults.
Guillaume qualified as an Osteopath in France, graduating in 2008. He moved to Dubai in 2011 gaining experience working in a busy private practice. In 2016 Guillaume founded Alternative Medicine Center and has invited highly reputed practitioners to join his team, fulfilling his dream of starting a multidisciplinary practice providing the highest level of musculoskeletal care.
Guillaume uses a variety of techniques including craniosacral therapy, visceral mobilisation, myofascial release and structural techniques in order to help his patients return to function. Guillaume combines and adapts his treatment in order to provide an individual approach to each patient. He has expertise in treating a wide variety of problems including back pain, neck pain and headaches, with special training in working with babies and children.
Over the past years Guillaume has completed further training in managing emergencies and acute pain, and in perinatal care. He has a special interest in treating various ENT conditions, helping manage gastrointestinal and gynaecological disorders such as constipation and menstrual pain.
Guillaume is fluent in French and English and is competent in Spanish.
Nicolas Bideau

Dr. Nicolas Bideau

Dr. Bideau is a Doctor of Osteopathy from France. He graduated with a Bachelor in Sports & Science and continued his post-graduate studies in Osteopathy. His specializations include Acute/chronic spine pain, Neuropathic and neurogenic pain management, and brings a bio-psycho-social approach to pain management. Nicolas focuses on evidence-based treatments and patient preferences. Also, he believes that helping patients understand their condition will provide them better outcomes.

Nicolas views his treatment sessions as a way to work with the patient expectations to understand & treat conditions, not just quick fixes. Outside the clinic, Nicolas enjoys baseball and badminton. He also has a lot of interest in nutrition science and cooking.

Lauren Whalan

Osteopathy for babies, children and adults. Pre and postnatal Osteopathy. Cranial sacral therapy, cranial Osteopathy, visceral Osteopathy and structural techniques. Orofacial myofunctional therapy and energy healing.

Lauren Whalan is an Australian trained osteopath and cranial sacral therapist. She qualified with an undergraduate degree in Applied Science Osteopathy in 2002 and then a Master of Osteopathy with distinction in 2004.
Lauren has completed further studies in paediatric Osteopathy, the care of pregnant women, woman’s health, lactation consulting, tongue-ties, visceral Osteopathy, and cranial Osteopathy. Lauren also practices Orofacial Myofunctional therapy; which aims to improve orofacial muscle imbalance, incorrect swallowing pattern, TMJ muscle dysfunction and/or the elimination of bruxing, clenching or noxious oral habits like thumb sucking, nail biting or hair pulling.
Lauren also has special interest in energy healing and works with the body’s life force energy to help patients access and resolve any emotional trauma stored within.
Whilst Lauren’s passion lies with treating babies and children, she is trained in all areas of Osteopathy and can treat anyone from the newborn to the geriatric, to the sedentary and the professional athlete.
Lauren worked in Sydney as a new graduate and relocated to Dubai with her husband Scott in 2009. She has since become a mother to 3 boys; Archie, Spencer and Dawson.

Naomi Hart

Naomi graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in 2006 with distinction. She worked
with (and learned from) a number of inspiring Osteopaths in London before moving to Dubai in
2009.

Naomi has gained valuable experience in Dubai working in busy multidisciplinary clinics where
she has treated a wide range of sports injuries, chronic pain conditions and developed a special
interest in pre and post natal care.

Having recovered from a serious spinal injury herself, she brings firsthand experience to her
patient care, providing an empathic approach to personalized patient management and
recovery.

Naomi has particular expertise is diagnosing musculoskeletal injuries and uses a variety of
treatment techniques including soft tissue massage, mobilization and articulation of joints and
myofascial release to treat a wide range of conditions including:

Stephen Chesterfield

Stephen Chesterfield

Steve is a New Zealander who has spent 25 years working in healthcare across 3 different industries. Steve started out as a functional personal trainer in 1999, went on to become an Osteopath in 2012 and more recently he has become certified in Functional Medicine in 2022.

With Steve’s wide ranging skill set he is able to provide well rounded, holistic, treatment to every one of his patients, in order to help resolve a wide variety of acute and chronic health complaints.

As a personal trainer, Steve had a severe spinal injury in the gym which lead him to study rehabilitation through the CHEK institute. After receiving Osteopathic treatment in 2008, he decided to complete his Bachelor in Human Biology and went on to finish his Masters in Osteopathy in Auckland New Zealand, graduating with honors in 2012.

In 2022 Steve completed his studies in Functional Medicine through the Functional Medicine University of America. He truly believes that functional medicine is the future of medicine, and when combined with osteopathic treatment, it is the most powerful approach to help resolve a wide variety of acute and chronic health issues, while preventing and even reversing disease.

Osteopathy:
Steve loves treating infants and toddlers, and enjoys treating adults presenting with a variety of acute and chronic complaints. He is qualified and experienced in structural osteopathy (physical), visceral osteopathy (digestive & organ), and cranio-sacral osteopathy (gentle and ideal for infants).
Since qualifying, Steve has completed post graduate studies in his specialty interests of pediatrics, headaches/ migraines and orofacial complaints (TMD/ Jaw, face and head pain), with several doctors and dentists referring to him for such issues.

Functional Medicine:
Steve noticed many patients were on one or more lifelong medications, and many of them struggling to manage and treat chronic health complaints with their primary healthcare physician, such as: fatigue, depression, digestive gut issues, hormonal imbalances, cholesterol, high blood pressure and more.

He believes that patients can only get better when the root cause of symptoms are addressed, and the interconnectedness of the body understood, a principle that Osteopathy and Functional Medicine both have in common.

Melissa is an Australian trained Osteopath. She qualified with an undergraduate degree in Applied Science Osteopathy in 2005 and then a Master of Osteopathy in 2007.

Melissa has over a decade of experience working in a busy multidisciplinary clinic in Sydney, where she treated a wide range of complaints for adults and children.

She utilises an integrated practice of structural Osteopathy (mobilisation, soft tissue release, manipulation) active release (ART) and trigger point dry needling.

She believes a clients thorough understanding of pain and injury assists in the prevention, recovery, and recurrence of injury.

Dominique Nik Jordan

Physiotherapy, Manual therapy, Sports physiotherapy and Rehabilitation.

Nik graduated in his home country of Switzerland 🇨🇭 in 2001. He has vast experience in treating professional, international athletes. He is an expert in manipulation, dissecting functional movements, retraining them and build them back together (for everyday life, as well as for sports enthusiasts and pro athletes).

He combines this with a focus on patient education and self-management in the fervent belief that if the patient understands the nature and mechanical root of their problem, the path to recovery is clear. Armed with self-mobilisation or, as Nik says, “trouble shooting and bullet proofing techniques” patients maintain and enhance the benefits of their sessions and therefore come full circle from injury or pain to normal daily function or sports activity and prevention. 🏋️

He is a committed sportsman, trains regularly in Calisthenics and Cross Fit and practices what he preaches, applying his own self-treatment techniques daily.

His main areas of expertise include musculoskeletal dysfunctions, manual therapy, sports physiotherapy, treatment of chronic/acute neck and low back pain, chronic pain (whiplash, CRPS, RSI such as tendinitis and misuse injuries), dysfunctions of the peripheral nervous system and postoperative rehabilitation.

Jade Lucas Read

Jade qualified as a Physiotherapist in London in 2008. She moved to the UAE in 2012 after working for well known London clinics and combining this with physiotherapy for performing artists.
Jade has completed further studies in musculoskeletal conditions such as hip & groin, TMJ, spinal conditions and combines physiotherapy techniques alongside rehabilitation and pilates. She has also extensive further studies in Women’s Health- pre and post natal, menopause, sexual dysfunction and treats from a multidisciplinary approach including breathwork, meditation (mindfulness), somatic movement and energy alignment.

Jade also has a special interest in plant medicines, breathwork, energy alignment, traditional yogic practises in order to guide people on their healing journey from stored traumas and repetitive patterns.

Neasa Barry

Neasa graduated in 2005 from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland with first class honours and clinical distinction. Since qualification she has worked in private hospitals and sports clinics in Ireland and the UAE, furthering her education in manual therapy, functional rehabilitation, dry needling and Pilates. After the birth of her children she specialised in women’s health/pelvic floor physiotherapy and this has since been her passion. Her continuing education and experience reflects this with Post Graduate Certification in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy from Melbourne University. She has also obtained further certifications in diastasis rehabilitation, pre and post natal exercise programming and sex and sexuality for pelvic floor practitioners.
Neasa specialises in the treatment of women (and men) with pelvic floor dysfunction and pelvic pain. She also specialises in the rehabilitation of women pre and post natally with pelvic floor issues, pain or diastasis rectus abdominus. She utilises her training in clinical pilates and sports rehabilitation to optimise whole body function and prescribe safe exercise during this time. Her passion is to support women in their childbearing year and beyond.

Ben Nixon

Ben is a highly skilled physiotherapist with more than 12 years of experience,specialisingin diagnosing, treating, and rehabilitating musculoskeletal injuries, with aparticular focus on lower limb conditions and post-operative recovery. He holds a BSc(Hons) degree in Physiotherapy.

Ben’s impressive background includes prominent roles withinthe English PremierLeague, such as Stoke City, and serving as the Head Physiotherapist at Port Vale F.C.He has also worked as a Consultant Physiotherapist for the English FootballAssociation.

Danielle Donnelley

Danielle is a British Sports Therapist & Senior Coach with over 16 years of experience in the field. She is one of the few medically licensed Sports Therapists in the UAE. Throughout her career, she has emphasised continued professional education to improve her skills and achieve the highest possible levels. She is also the only medically trained Fascial Stretch Therapist in the Middle East. Before moving to Dubai, Danielle worked as a Coach & Rehabilitation Specialist at a well

Jeelna is a highly regarded British Physiotherapist with skills and expertise in musculoskeletal and sports rehabilitation. Having worked in professional sports clubs and NHS London Teaching Hospitals, she is internationally recognized for implementing her therapeutic techniques and combined approach of mobility, yoga and strength training; promoting optimal health and wellbeing to her clients worldwide.

With a special interest in shoulder rehabilitation, she spends time with clients modifying their training in the gym or on the yoga mat to manage and prevent common sports related shoulder injuries.

Celina received her ITEC diploma in Anatomy, physiology, body massage and reflexology from Cork College of Commerce in Ireland. Following her graduation she went on to work in what was then reputed as Ireland’s first thallasso therapy Spa on Inchydoney Island in West Cork.
She has worked freelance in a holistic centre in Jumeirah, she also took on the role as lecturer teaching the ITEC programm for body massage at the Holistic Institute in Dubai. She then continued her studies and went on to get her certification in Sports Massage (deep tissue). Celina has a keen interest in holistic therapies and pursued certification in Dorn Method, which is a gentle realignment of the spine and joints. Celina has worked in a new and fully comprehensive physiotherapy centre while living in Abu Dhabi, here she worked beside reputable physiotherapists gaining valuable hands on experience, adding to her skills and knowledge in working with athletes and rehab patients. Celina had the honour of providing sports massage to performing members of Cirque Du Soleil on their world tour visit to Dubai in 2016. She was also enlisted to work on the Australian rugby team during the Dubai rugby 7’s tournament and the international women’s professional golf tournament at the Emirates Golf Club.

Alexandra Zashtitin

Alexandra is a UK educated Chiropractor, she obtained a Masters degree at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic and is certified in dry needling.

Alexandra has 14 years of experience in sports and general therapy, including 4 years as a chiropractor and 10 years as a sport’s therapy specialist.
Alex is highly experienced in the treatment and management of athletes and has worked closely with powerlifters, bodybuilders, dancers, crossfitters as well as a handful of Olympic sprinters.

Alex has a multi-disciplinary approach to the treatments she provides, with many different modalities available to help patients achieve the results they are looking for. She has a diverse understanding of sport mechanics and has the ability to solve these mechanical challenges, either for an athlete, the elderly, or an average person.
Alex is a solution-orientated clinician, always looking to update her knowledge and unite the true concept of health or performance. She is a strong advocate for improving mental and social health in order to empower her patients to live healthier lives.

Alex Konovalov

Dr. Alex Konovalov has been practicing in Dubai since 2019. All together, he has been a Chiropractor for almost 20 years, 18 to be exact. Over this period of time he has treated and helped numerous patients – from small children to older individuals, from office workers to profession athletes.

As a teenager Dr. Alex was diagnosed with a III degree idiopathic scoliosis. The symptoms started to occur only when he was in his early-twenties, pursuing the education in Business Administration and Accounting. He was successfully treated at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, and at that moment he decided to change his life path and became a Dr. of Chiropractic in order to help people the same way Chiropractic helped him.
Dr. Alex graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2004, after that he went back to his home town Tiraspol, Moldova, where he founded Moldova National Chiropractic association and introduced chiropractic to his home country in a local multidisciplinary rehabilitation clinic.

After that Dr. Alex was invited to join a much bigger hospital of St. Elizabeth in St. Petersburg, Russia. After a couple of years in Saint-Petersburg he relocated to Madrid, Spain, where he helped patients for the next 11 years.
While practicing and mastering Gonstead Technique by attending seminars, Dr. Alex continued his professional development with ICPA (International Chiropractic Pediatric Association) receiving Webster Certification, FNOR Certification and Carrick Institute among other seminars and courses.

In 2016 he found out about CrossFlt and after few years of training he received Level 1 Trainer Certificate (CF-L1), which gave him a unique opportunity to better understand and combine high intensity training with professional chiropractic knowledge.
While in Madrid, he was on the Board of Directors of the Spanish Chiropractic Association (AEQ), working towards the official recognition of Chiropractic in Spain. Benjamin Tinker
